The Triple-Talk USB is a serial text to speech synthesizer capable of being connected to a computer via a standard USB or RS232 serial port. Utilizing todays modern technology, the Triple-Talk USB is extremely responsive and delivers a quality of speech that is better than ever. Unlike most serial synthesizers, the Triple-Talk USB takes full advantage of the high speed transfer rates of the USB bus. In simple terms, start and stop speech commands to the synthesizer appear to be instantaneous. As an added bonus, the Triple-Talk USB comes equiped with a standard RS232 serial port for use with older computers that do not offer USB support. With an internal three cell 1.1 amp NiCad rechargeable battery, the Triple-Talk USB is capable of operateing for several hours on a standard serial port before an external power source is required. With support for screen access programs such as Window Eyes, Jaws for Windows, and Vocal Eyes, the Triple-Talk synthesizer provides a reliable solution to your screen access needs.
